Tax credits success for accountant

EQ Accountants, which has offices in Dundee, Forfar, Cupar and Glenrothes, has completed its 300th claim for research and development tax credits.

Over the past eight years a specialist team at EQ has claimed more than £16 million in credits for Scottish firms, handling around 65 claims a year.

Dundee-based SP Technology Limited, which designs and manufactures automated systems, is among the firms who have benefited. The savings have allowed the firm to invest in its team and research and development.
