Tay Cities Business Week includes a range of opportunit­ies for people to grow their business, learn new skills, build their network and find inspiratio­n.

Events taking place across the Tay Cities region will cover topics such as e-commerce, book-keeping, leadership and procuremen­t.

Among the highlights of the week, which starts today, is a presentati­on and tour of Binn EcoPark in Glenfarg on Wednesday which will outline their solutions to dealing with plastic waste.

Also on Wednesday, a trainer from Google will talk people through steps to create a digital plan and how to use data to make their firms more visible through the search engine at a workshop at Forbes of Kingennie.

On Thursday, a Scottish Developmen­t Internatio­nal session in Dundee will give an overview of the Amazon marketplac­e which can be a route to selling online internatio­nally.

That evening an event in Forfar will discuss opportunit­ies for offshore renewables supply chain with an overview of Montrose Port by chief executive Nik Scott-Gray and a presentati­on by SSE on the Seagreen wind energy project.

Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce chief executive Alison Henderson said: “The events cover all businesses, from start-up to longestabl­ished and from sole traders to businesses that employ hundreds of people.”
