Student celebrates success at Gleneagles culinary contest
Perth College UHI student Heather Paul made the finals of a contest aimed at nurturing emerging talents in Scotland’s hospitality sector.
The Gibby Culinary Scholarship was set up by Gleneagles Hotel in memory of head chef Alan Gibb.
Heather scored second place after an interview, written assessment and knife skills presentation. She also had to butcher, prepare and cook a show-stopper main course of harissa-spiced rack of lamb.
