ACCIDENT

A crash involving a car and motorbike closed part of the A93 Perth to Blairgowrie road yesterday. It happened at 1pm, near Guildtown.

Police Scotland said the biker was hurt but his injuries were not life-threatening.

Traffic was redirected through St Martins.

Furniture craftsman Angus Ross will host an open day at his workshop in Burnside, Aberfeldy, tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.

SMASHING

The 19th annual International Bottle Smashing Tournament will be held at the Cairn O’ Mohr winery, Errol, tomorrow from 1pm. Competitors can start registering at noon.
