Caledonian Marts Ltd, Stirling, sold 328 suckled calves at their premier show and sale judged by Jason Wareham, Little Tottingworth, East Sussex.

Overall champion was a Limousin heifer from Greenwells which sold for £3,600 and reserve was a Limousin bullock from Sunnyside, Cumnock, which made £2,700. Senior section: Charolais bullock – 1 Dippen Farm £1,500, 2 Murrayshall £1,320. Limousin Bullock – 1 Sunnyside £1,650, 2 Newton of Logierait £1,250, 3 Newton of Logierait £1,280. Bullock any other breed – 1 Lower Greenyards, 2 Hillend £1,200. Charolais heifer – 1 Dippen Farm £1,600. Limousin heifer – 1 and senior champion Sunnyside, 2 and reserve senior champion Newton of Logierait, Ballinluig £1,120, 3 Westerton £1,100. Heifers ave 205p selling to 246p from Glenstockadale and to £1,190 for a pen of Limousins from Camreggan.
