Worst PM and his failing government

-

Sir, – Tory snakes have been slithering around Boris, who has been the worst PM in a generation, who should have resigned long time ago because of his failing government.

Aaron Bell – given thousands by gaming industry while opposing its regulations.

Steve Baker of the Dark Money Brigade for the following:

European Research Group which pushed for hard Brexit.

Covid Recovery Group against lockdown.

Net Zero Watch against climate control.

Accepted conference expenses from radical right wing USA groups.

Mark Harper, under former prime minster David Cameron, pushed through brutal austerity plans and Covid laxity.

Roger Gale, who described same-sex marriage as in Alice In Wonderland Territory.

Andrea Leadsom, who scrapped subsidies for onshore wind farms.

Our very own Douglas Ross, who has turned into a windsock on Boris with each passing storm. Boy, is he in some pickle.

Current favourite Jeremy Hunt, distantly related to fascist Oswald Mosley. Hunt, as health secretary, had the NHS on its knees, missed targets, saw crumbling hospitals, false solutions, vanishing boosters when under scrutiny, then blamed everyone else but himself.

Some say the NHS problems really started on his watch.

Liz Truss and her dangerous rhetoric on the NI Protocol and trips across the Atlantic funded by ultra-right-wingers in the USA which should ring alarm bells in any sane democracy.

The Tories have spent last 10 years bouncing from one crisis to another.

Instead of representing public duty, they represented the self-preservation of a small clique of spivs, racketeers, oligarchs and right-wing nutjobs who have captured our brittle and dysfunctional state. Instead of civic virtues, they have embodied corruption and vanity.

That will be how Boris and co will be remembered.

He won the vote, but he has lost the war.

He is finished.

What we need is not a snake crushing a crocodile in a Tory swamp, but a general election – let the voters decide now before the Tories try to stop some voters from voting.
