• Students from Fife College are hosting a steak day lunch in the Academy Training Restaurant based in St Brycedale Campus in Kirkcaldy on Wednesday. Raffle tickets can be bought and all money raised will be going towards future college trips.

It starts at noon and can be booked by phoning 01592 223043 or emailing theacademy@fife.ac.uk.

• The Memorial Hall in Kingsbarns is holding a Spring Fair on Saturday from 10am until 12.30pm. There will be a plant sale, book stall, brica-brac, raffle and refreshmen­ts.

Entry is £3, children are free. Proceeds will be divided between the Developmen­t Trust, the Hall and the church.

• The Pentecost Communion Service will be held at Kinnoull Parish Church in Perth on Sunday at 10.30am. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided afterwards. The service will also be streamed.

On Monday there are youth group dropins from 5.30pm-7pm (P5-7) and 7.15pm8.15pm (S1+). Blether Buddies will be held on Wednesday at 2pm. Refreshmen­ts will be provided and participan­ts can play games or just have a chat. Next Friday there will be Messy Play at 10am. Homemade soup and bread will be served from noon. Boys’ Brigade is also on Friday, with Anchors from 6pm-7pm (P1-3), Juniors 6.45pm-8pm (P4-6) and Company 8pm-9.30pm (P7-S6). All are welcome and these events will be in the church hall.

• More than 200 people participat­ed in the Loch Leven Walkathon, raising £20,850 for Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.

Participan­ts walked 7km, 12km or 13 miles of the Loch Leven Heritage Trail.

The final total is expected to rise as donations are still being collected.
