Muhammad says goodbye

NORTHANTS will part company with seam bowler Muhammad Azharullah at the end of the season.

Azharullah, 33, has been at Northamptonshire for the last five years and helped them win the T20 title in 2013 and 2016.

Chief executive Ray Payne said: “We’d like to thank Azhar for his contribution to what has been a very successful four years for the club.

“He has proved to be a great addition to the squad and has played an integral role in our achievements.”
