Customers threaten to leave Tandem Bank

Many Tandem Bank customers threatened to close their accounts after the start-up announced it would introduce a £5.99 monthly fee. The challenger bank, which has signed up more than 500,000 customers, said it would start a charge for its cashback card. Chief executive Ricky Knox said the move was made in order to offer a “sustainable” service.
