Could this be the answer to the prayers of the hordes looking for the perfect place to lay their heads — and golf bags? A new “online TV magazine for golf properties” points the way to scores of homes in the sun where they can indulge their passion for hitting little white ball into a succession of holes in the ground. has been set up by Jonathan Hemmings, a 37-yearold, self-confessed golf nut. It aims to cash in on the worldwide mushrooming of developments specifically linked to golf courses.

“As a prospective buyer myself, I have been frustrated at how long it takes to pinpoint a golf home on hundreds of different agents’ websites,” he says. “I want to make it easier for people like me by presenting high-quality video, stills and descriptions of the best properties and then providing a hotlink through to the developers.”

The site is also intended to help those developers to reach a wider targeted audience and sell their homes quickly. They are charged €1,000 to show their homes on the site for four months.

Countries currently featured on the site include Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Bulgaria and some of the Caribbean islands. Details: www. Top golfing properties all round the world will be featured in the Telegraph’s special Overseas Property supplement next Saturday. Don’t miss it.
