If there is a vi­sion of prop­erty heaven that unites the world’s wealth­i­est in­vestors, it looks some­thing like the Tus­can Chi­anti Es­tate, a his­toric hill­top pile near Florence. The 20,451 sq ft re­nais­sance villa pre­sides over 10 acres of for­mal gar­dens, olive groves, vine­yards and for­est. “To have such a large es­tate all to­gether in an ex­tra­or­di­nary set­ting like Chi­anti is ex­tremely rare,” says Marta Brunellini Ro­molini from Christie’s In­ter­na­tional Real Es­tate, which is mar­ket­ing the gran­diose Dutch-owned prop­erty for €17.15 mil­lion (£13.4 mil­lion) and ex­pects it to ap­peal – in this or­der – to Amer­i­can, north­ern Euro­pean, Rus­sian and Chi­nese buy­ers.
