Three-bed­room Vic­to­rian ter­race houses can go for less than £200,000. “It is the most af­ford­able place in the re­gion and so easy to get to Lon­don,” says Bran­don Neal of Tay­lors. “The jour­ney to Lon­don Padding­ton will soon be cut to 35 min­utes.” The rental mar­ket is also strong, so in­vestors are mov­ing in to get six to seven per cent re­turns.
