Three-bedroom Victorian terrace houses can go for less than £200,000. “It is the most affordable place in the region and so easy to get to London,” says Brandon Neal of Taylors. “The journey to London Paddington will soon be cut to 35 minutes.” The rental market is also strong, so investors are moving in to get six to seven per cent returns.
