This tongue-in-cheek action adventure stars Kurt Russell as a macho truck driver trying to retrieve his friend’s fiancée from the clutches of kidnappers. Bizarrely, their leader is the ghost of a 3,000-year-old Chinese warlord-cum-sorcerer, who counters Russell’s quips with his own hilariously naff special effects. This silly film still manages to shine despite its sheer weirdness.
