STUDIO 17: THE LOST REGGAE TAPES
BBC Four, 9.30pm
This music documentary pays tribute to the Chinese-Jamaican family whose studio, Randy’s, was responsible for some of the landmark recordings of the golden age of reggae, including parts of Bob Marley and the Wailers’s Catch a Fire, Dennis Brown’s Westbound Train and the ageless, profoundly influential Marcus Garvey by Burning Spear. Jimmy Cliff, producer Bunny Lee and Dave Stewart are among the high-calibre talking heads. GT
