Women’s Six Nations
FA Cup Semi-Finals Saturday & Sunday, BBC One & BT Sport 1
Wembley Stadium will be positively jumping on Sunday as 4,000 fans are allowed to attend the FA Cup semi-final between Leicester City and Southampton (BT Sport 1, 6pm), replacing the demonic drone of artificial fan-noise that has blighted live sport during the pandemic. The Foxes saw off Manchester
United in the previous round with an impressive 3-1 win, while Saints put three past Bournemouth. On Saturday, Premier League leaders Manchester City take on the FA Cup runners up from last season, Chelsea (BBC One, 5pm), with both sides in excellent form. On Wednesday, in the Women’s Super League, Chelsea go head-to-head with Manchester City in a decisive top of the table clash (BT Sport 1, 5.30pm). Two points separate the sides, meaning any potential winner would be top with two games remaining. A nail-biting finish to a fantastic Super League season, sorely deserved after last year’s competition was cut short by the pandemic.

The group stages of this year’s condensed Six Nations comes to a head as Ireland take on France for a place in the grand final (2.15pm), while Scotland face off against fellow strugglers Italy (5pm). In the last round, Ireland consigned Wales to their second drubbing
of the tournament to invigorate this Pool B showdown against France, with the winner playing England for the title next weekend. On Friday, Gallagher Premiership leaders Bristol Bears play champions Exeter Chiefs (BT Sport 1, 7.45pm). Bristol won their last meeting, and have lost only two league games all season.
