TIPS FOR GRASSES

Choose grasses with nat­u­ral move­ment and shape such as mis­cant­hus or pan­icum, rather than very straight grasses such as cala­m­a­grostis.

Paler in­flo­res­cences work best so choose grasses that have al­ready been dried and bleached by the sun.

Cut grasses on a dry, bright day and store flat some­where cool and dry (hang­ing can some­times straighten the stems).
