Who thinks Macron’s two rings are unwise given his current image problems? Macron – aka “le petit dauphin” – has got up the noses of the French electorate as much for his pretensions as his policies, and on this basis he should be identifying all potential irritants and eliminating them. Were it summertime we would say the neat £200 swimming trunks have to go, as well as the plans for a pool at the presidential Riviera retreat. But for now, how about ditching the extra Russian wedding ring (it looks like) which has a hint of one ring better than everyone else? Just a thought.
