HELEN’S TIP OF
THE WEEK
The pressure washing season seems to be upon us and more than a few gardeners (chaps, usually, it has to be said), will be in their element. Some pressure cleaners come with a garden-friendly attachment: a plastic hood with a brush around the bottom edge that helps reduce the amount of dirty water flying around and damaging surrounding plants. Inside the hood there are two jets that rotate at high-speed close to the ground to blast off the dirt. If your washer does not have these, be sure to sweep paved areas well before blasting off.
