Be looking forward to the new series of The Crown (whenever that might be, to paraphrase Prince Charles)? We’re particularly keen to see Dominic West – best known from The Wire and The Affair – take up the challenge of playing Charles, not least because all the brooding and petulance was getting boring. West is eminently capable of looking tortured and miserable (see Les Mis) but, with any luck, will bring some vim and vigour to the part. Aren’t we due a bit of sporty Charles, easily amused Charles, lavish entertainer and plant-fancier Charles, flirty Charles? Anyway… more fun for us.
