You can’t camp there, but this summer visitors can wander unguided around the gardens of Buckingham Palace for the first time. New tickets will allow visitors to picnic in the private, 39-acre grounds as an alternative to the traditional summer opening of the palace’s state rooms, which has been cancelled for a second year due to Covid.
