Hooligans head to Copa final
A group of around 500 hardcore hooligans from Argentina is expected to make the trip to Real Madrid’s Bernabeu stadium for tomorrow’s Copa Libertadores final second leg between River Plate and Boca Juniors. Around 4,000 security personnel will be deployed – nearly double the number used in Clasico matches against Barcelona. The game has been moved to Madrid after fan violence caused the postponement of the return in Buenos Aires two weeks ago. Boca players were injured when River fans attacked the Boca team bus with rocks, bottles and wood. The first leg, played in Buenos Aires, ended 2-2.
