Three matches to watch today

The Daily Telegraph - Sport - - French Open -

1 Johanna Konta (GB, 26) v Lauren Davis (US)

Having finally broken her French Open duck against Antonia Lottner, Konta (above) now has another decent draw against 5ft 2in Davis, whose record here stands at two wins from eight matches.

2 Sloane Stephens (US, 7) v Sara Sorribes Tormo (Spain)

Last year’s runner-up, Stephens (above) has had an unexceptional season but remains a threat whenever she focuses her undoubted talents. Can make tennis look uncannily easy.

3 Kiki Bertens (Holland, 4) v Viktoria Kuzmova (Russia)

Bertens (above) is the world’s most underrated player, who recently won the Madrid Masters to climb to No 4 in the world. But Kuzmova, who has an explosive game, can be dangerous on her day.
