The Daily Telegraph - Sport - - Football -

A supporter responsible for displaying an “offensive” banner about Liverpool striker Divock Origi during the Champions League match in Genk on Wednesday has been identified. Anfield officials liaised with police to have the banner, which they said “perpetuated a racist stereotype”, removed. Uefa will await the reports of the match referee and delegate before deciding whether to open a disciplinary investigation. Meanwhile, the High Court is expected to give its ruling today on whether Liverpool can enter into a new kit deal with sportswear giant Nike. It is opposed by current suppliers New Balance.
