England given rainbow all-clear

England players planning to show their support for LGBTQ+ rights by wearing rainbow colours during the World Cup qualifier in Hungary on Sept 2 are likely to escape sanction. It is understood that Fifa would be unlikely to take disciplinary action against a player making such a gesture, provided it was done in a respectful way.
