It’s been a while since Burberr y had a smash-hit handbag, but that appears to be changing with the new DK88. Named after the brand’s code for its signature gabardine fabric (patented i n 18 88), t he r a nge i s t he re s ult of Christophe­r Bailey’s quest to create ‘a timeless collection of bags that would have the same spirit and attitude as the iconic t rench coat’. There a re seven shapes – including a satchel, a barrel bag and a briefcase – but the signature is the Top Handle (left).
