Her stem, pear and flower prints already appear in many British homes – now Orla Kiely’s patterns will take pride of place in London’s Fashion and Textile Museum. A Life in Pattern traces the development of the designer’s aesthetic from her Irish childhood through the 20-year rise of her now global brand. Expect a scholarly – and colourful – exploration of her most recognisable prints across fashion, accessories and homeware, with choice photographs of fans such as Alexa Chung and the Duchess of Cambridge.
