Pedigree Professional dressage rider and tech startup founder, based in Windsor. Grew up in a polo-playing family and took her pony to school with her at Millfield.

Previous form She has participated in the 1,000km (621 miles) Mongol Derby endurance race through the Mongolian Steppe, the longest horse race in the world. In contrast, at just 1.1km (1,210 yards), the Magnolia Cup is the shortest, so she’s keen to bag it. Her stepmother, Clare, Marchioness of Milford Haven, has also competed in the event.

Odds Top racing trainer Andrew Balding (Clare’s brother) will lend her a horse for the race, so great odds... The only hiccup? Tats took up long-distance running last year and has developed bursitis of the hip, so now she’s hobbling around on crutches.

Remarks ‘I’m the most competitive person you’ll ever meet and I absolutely want to win. Also, I was raised with horses – my dad played so much polo that I used to sit on his horse as a baby – and I’m quite fit so I’d like to say my chances are high.’
