Lights, camera, chronographs
A Dickensian former factory and circus space might not seem the most likely place to find our thespian elite, but the cavernous Electric Light Station in Shoreditch was the venue for the British Film Institute and Swiss watch house IWC Schaffhausen’s bash to mark 150 years of the brand – as well as its bursary for film-makers. Despite the sumptuous setting, there was an autumnal nip in the air and Rosamund Pike opted for sleek suiting instead of a floaty gown, while gents wore polo necks.
