Hit Factory
The first collection from the new partnerships series at Tod’s is here
Italian label Tod’s is opening up to collaborators. For the first instalment of its new Factory series, it has teamed up with Alessandro Dell’acqua, the man behind No.21 and Rochas. Dell’acqua has reinvented house icons, including the pebble-soled Gommino driving shoe, as well as experimenting with glossy leather trousers and voluminous anoraks. From £398, tods.com.
WINGING IT
At 15 years old, Garrard’s wings motif is a whippersnapper compared to the 283-year-old brand itself. But it’s one of the jeweller’s most recognisable symbols, and to celebrate the anniversary, its design has been subtly refined. Diamond-set plumes, wrapped gently around fingers and earlobes, should make the wearer feel ‘comforted, cared for and sheltered’, says creative director Sara Prentice. What more could we ask for? From £15,000, garrard.com. SR-G
A SOFT TOUCH
A luxury jumper brand that we’re already very familiar with, Chinti & Parker, has just opened its first-ever store. The pop-up destination in west London’s Westbourne Grove will run until the end of January and is the only place where you can feel the new super-soft Essentials cashmere collection (usually exclusively available online). This may be the first store in the world where it is normal to want to stroke the window display. 186 Westbourne Grove, London W11.
