THE BRIT PARADE
Burberry’s new Italian chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci is keen on British heritage. Upon arriving at our flagship fashion house in March, he decided almost immediately that he wanted to collaborate with a particular UK fashion legend. ‘Vivienne Westwood was one of the first designers who made me dream to become a designer myself, and when I first started at Burberry, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to approach her to do something,’ he says. The result of their collaboration – platform checked heels, mini kilts and draped shirting – launches on Thursday. From £55, burberry.com.
