Edmonds is spotted conspicuously exercising in the swisher parks of London. But it’s not his HIIT routines that initially catch the attention of the tabloids: it’s his new haircut. Matted with sweat they may be, but unfamiliar dark, flowing locks have unmistakably replaced his usual blond mane. Edmonds tweets that he’s now a personal trainer ‘to the stars’, though when Madonna is interviewed about the ageing man who has been photographed wheezing 25 yards behind her and her bodyguards in Hyde Park, she comments, ‘You mean the old guy in the Lycra who thinks he’s Joe Wicks? I really have no idea who he is.’
