William weighs in: non-alc drinking

Good news for chief medical officer Dame Sally Davies, who once said her first thought when she sees a glass of wine is, ‘Will it give me cancer?’ Drinks investor Distill Ventures has released a study that confirms the economic potential of what it calls non-alc drinks. Apparently the demand for non-alc drinks is up 81 per cent globally from just a year ago. The increasing number of millennial non-alcs is a sobering thought – one that has me reaching for a drink (non-non-alc, obvs).
