What went right
A good start, especially from Graziano Pelle, and then an outstanding ending to the season. The return of goalkeeper Fraser Forster coincided with the upsurge in form while the arrival of Charlie Austin also spurred others and added to the attacking depth.

What’s the verdict on Ronald Koeman?
Positive. Everton are interested in recruiting him, Southampton hope that he will sign a new deal. The question for Koeman, whose longerterm dreams are with Holland or Barcelona, is whether those goals are more attainable from Everton than Saints.
