Villain of the season
Standing head and shoulders above every other candidate, Sepp Blatter set new standards for villainous escapades. What sets him apart is the fact his corrupt ways spanned nearly two decades as Fifa president. We can only hope that his successor, Gianni Infantino, does a bit better. Looking back now, it is upsetting to think of the harm Blatter inflicted on football’s good name. Thank goodness he has gone.
