QThat trip to Tibet remains unfinished business. And I may get the chance early next year to try the new highspeed train from Hong Kong to Beijing, 1,516 miles (2,440km) in a single nine-hour day, at a start to stop average speed of 169mph right across China. But what I’m looking forward to most of all is Caledonian Sleeper’s all-new en suite sleeping cars to be introduced next spring – when once again I’ll book that wonderful Deerstalker to the West Highlands.
