LOUIS BARTHELEMY
After working as a textile designer for Dior and Galliano in Paris before a stint in Cairo, Barthélemy moved to Marrakech a few years ago, enchanted by the vibrant colours and the warmth of its people. The move led him to tapestry-making inspired by Egyptian khayamiya (ornate decorative fabrics). His tapestries and handmade leather sandals are on sale at Pink Door boutique at Riad Mena.
