Dubai is the top destination for hopeful holidaymakers this Christmas, who will swap the cold British winter for sun and sand. The city has shot up in popularity, becoming the mostsearched destination for travel in December and over the new year period, according to Skyscanner, a price comparison website. This came after the Government added the United Arab Emirates to its list of travel corridors, meaning Britons do not need to self-isolate on return. Flights to Dubai have been selling for 20pc cheaper than in 2019 for those looking to travel in spring.
