IT’S KRÓNA BE A GOOD HOLIDAY
Holidaymakers in Iceland will gain an extra £33 worth of króna for every £500 they exchange compared with prepandemic rates, according to the currency firm FairFX. Of the currencies of countries on the green list for travel, the pound has improved the most compared with that of Singapore and Brunei, with an extra £54 gained for every £500 exchanged – but they are currently closed to tourists. Perhaps it’s good that Australia is also blocking travellers; there, you would get £49 less for every £500 exchanged compared with last March.
