Man jailed over strip club bouncer's murder

-

A man who helped plot the murder of a strip club bouncer for showing “disrespect” to one of his friends was jailed for at least 25 years at the Old Bailey.

Sibigam Ekprikpo, 57, of Walthamstow, east London, tipped off the organiser of the killing when Bogdan Paduret, 29, left work in November 2010. His call led to the victim being shot in Finchley, north London.

Mr Paduret was killed in revenge for preventing a gangster, Errol Jeffrey, 30, and his friends from entering the Mayfair nightclub three weeks earlier.

Jeffrey, of Poplar, east London, has already been jailed for life along with John Otugade, 20, of Friern Barnet, north London, the gunman, Christopher N’Jie, 20, of Poplar, the getaway driver, and Danny Dixon, 30, of Bow, another lookout.
