All smiles for Prince George’s second birthday

When he celebrated his first birthday, Prince George had the Queen as his guest of honour and the band of the Irish Guards playing him Happy Birthday. His party for his second birthday, which falls today, will be a Middleton family affair, with no royal guests, apart from his sister and parents. Kensington Palace said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their two children would be “spending time privately as a family” at Anmer Hall, their Norfolk home. The royal couple released a photograph of Prince George, taken by Mario Testino on the day of Princess Charlotte’s christening, to mark the occasion.
