Children’s remedy keeps 007 on the sauce

- By Anita Singh

JAMES BOND takes his martinis shaken not stirred, but the actor who plays him has confessed to a less sophisticated drinking habit.

Daniel Craig has disclosed that his hangover cure of choice is a children’s remedy for upset tummies.

Craig, 47, uses Pedialyte, an overthe-counter drink designed to rehydrate young children who have suf- fered a bout of vomiting or diarrhoea. It comes in strawberry, grape and bubblegum flavour, and is unlikely to en- hance Craig’s image as an action star.

Craig was asked how he dealt with hangovers in an interview with the US magazine DuJour. He was discussing tequila drinking in Mexico City, location for the next Bond film, Spectre.

It was recommended to him by fellow tough guy actor Mark Wahlberg, Craig said. “I was told that’s what Mark swears by.

“It’s the difference between life and death as far as I’m concerned.”
