She may be one of the nation’s most celebrated cooks, but Nigella Lawson says she would not be talented enough to succeed on The Great British Bake Off. Lawson, whose new BBC series Simply Nigella begins next week, said: “I wouldn’t get on Bake Off; it’s too complicated. I like baking in a homespun kind of way – if I make cookies, I don’t expect them all to look the same.”
