Vietnam War napalm victim has laser surgery
Kim Phuc became a symbol of the Vietnam War in 1972 when she was photographed, aged nine, running naked down a road after a napalm attack burnt large parts of her body. Now, more than 40 years later, the pain from that chemical attack might finally be extinguished. Phuc, 52, has begun a series of laser treatments to smooth and soften her extensive scar tissue.
