Officers feared for their lives as a dumper driver on drugs wrecked cars, above and right, in a two-hour, 40-mile chase with a top speed of 30mph. Nicholas Churchill, 40, took the 20-ton lorry after telling his boss faulty air-conditioning made it too hot to work. He was jailed for 14 months and banned for two years at Norwich Crown Court after admitting driving while unfit, dangerous driving and aggravated vehicle taking.
