Portmanteau problem
SIR – My favourite inane phrase (Letters, February 4) must be credited to my daughter, who, when asked to do a job by one of her employers’ directors, became a little muddled in replying.
The tussle between “no worries” and “no problem” came out as “no probbies”. Slightly Antipodean, but rather sweet.
