Breakfast in bed

SIR – Digging the garden this winter, I unearthed a hen’s egg (Letters, February 5) and a raw sausage, both fresh. I do not have a dog, so assume that it’s the work of foxes.

I wonder if I can expect a rasher of bacon to complete the set.
