The Queen, Patron, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Fellow, Zoological Society of London, this morning opened Land of the Lions at London Zoo, Regent’s Park, London NW1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa) and the President of the Society (Professor Sir John Beddington).
Her Majesty, escorted by the President, and His Royal Highness, escorted by Professor Geoffrey Boxshall (Secretary), viewed Indian-themed areas and Asiatic lions being fed, and met the exhibit delivery team, zoo keepers and conservationists.
The Duke of Edinburgh, President and Honorary Life Member, this evening attended a Club Dinner at the In and Out (Naval and Military Club), 4 St James’s Square, London SW1.
Mrs Carole Hayward (Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex) was present at Gatwick Airport, London, this morning upon the Arrival of the Governor-General of Saint Christopher and Nevis and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited a traditional crafts fair in Novi Sad, Serbia.
His Royal Highness, Vice Patron, the British Council, and Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Matica Srpska Gallery, Novi Sad.
The Prince of Wales later visited Kovij Monastery.
His Royal Highness subsequently undertook a boat tour of Kovilj Petrovaradin Marshes.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception to mark British Women on the Serbian Front Line in World War One and the UK-Serbia bilateral relationship, given by the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament (Madam Maja Gojkovic).
The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended the Food is Great Festival at the Museum of Bee Keeping, Sremski Karlovci.

The Countess of Wessex, Grand President, St John Ambulance in the Priory of England and the Islands, this morning attended the County Presidents’ Day at Chapter Hall, St John’s Gate, St John’s Lane, London EC1.
Her Royal Highness, Vice Patron, Royal Bath and West of England Society, this afternoon held a Meeting.
The Countess of Wessex, Patron, ChildLine and President, National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, this evening held a Thirtieth Anniversary Reception at Buckingham Palace.
