Scanners (1981)

David Cronenberg’s cult sci-fi tale tells of a group of psychics, or “scanners”, who have developed telekinetic abilities powerful enough to enable them to blow up people’s heads. Stephen Lack plays an unwitting scanner, struggling to understand his powers, who must prevent Michael Ironside’s rogue psychic Darryl from taking over the world.
