Now Amazon can deliver your groceries
Amazon is to enter the UK grocery market in a move that could threaten Britain’s already under-pressure “Big Four” supermarkets. The online retailer will today announce it is to offer its Prime members same-day deliveries on a range of 130,000 fresh and frozen grocery items. Amazon Fresh will initially offer the service to 69 postcodes in London. Deliveries will be made by Amazon’s 90 independent delivery partners who already deliver the retailer’s products.
