Top Labour figures clash over Brexit policy

A row between two of Labour’s most senior MPs over the party’s position on Brexit has emerged ahead of a speech by Jeremy Corbyn in which he will make a bid to win round leave voters.

Keir Starmer is said to be “furious” about remarks made by shadow chancellor John McDonnell, who said the party should make the most of the “enormous opportunity” presented by the vote to leave.
